At?WKU,?Professor?Tang's?classes?impressed?me?the?most.?In?her?classes,?I?was?introduced?to?the?world?of?picture?book?teaching?for?the?first?time.?Before?this,?I?had?always?thought?that?picture?book?teaching?was?only?suitable?for?younger?children?and?not?applicable?to?the?high?school?level?I?was?teaching.?I?was?concerned?that?students?might?find?the?stories?in?picture?books?too?childish.?However,?I?discovered?that?picture?books?suit?students?of?all?ages.?When?I?presented?outstanding?picture?books?that?I?had?learned?about?in?Professor?Tang's?class?to?my?students,?they?were?equally?moved.?A?small?story?could?plant?a?seed?of?hope?in?their?hearts.?Perhaps?this?is?the?magic?of?picture?book?teaching.

As?an?English?teacher,?I?deeply?benefited?from?my?studies?at?WKU.?The?immersive?English-speaking?environment?rapidly?improved?my?oral?skills?and?ignited?a?deeper?passion?for?exploring?English?education.?The?TESOL?professors?at?WKU,?with?their?advanced?teaching?philosophies?and?efficient?educational?methods,?helped?me?cultivate?a?habit?of?constantly?reflecting?on?my?teaching?practices,?leading?to?continuous?improvement?and?growth.?Studying?at?WKU?broadened?my?horizons?and?gave?me?a?more?comprehensive?understanding?and?application?of?English?language?education.
